Goodbye:

As this post publishes, I’ll be on my way out of Trier. Many of the other Erasmus students I know are gone by this time, and it’s been surreal seeing many of them off at bus-stops and from the Hauptbahnhof. The more people who leave, the more it finally sets in. It’s the end of my time in Trier, and I feel as though I could stay forever- or maybe as though it was only yesterday I stepped off the train for the first time. I will both dread and cherish thinking of all the long nights, walks in the afternoon, travels, festivals, inside jokes, and Abends of this last semester. I’ll dread the reminder that I’ll never have Erasmus Trier again, but love these things for exactly what they are. I plan on being back in some way or another, someday. In the end I love you all and will really miss this <3
